Craving Junk Food

Healthy eating was so hard!

How is it that when your body needs nutrients the most, you are turned off by the foods that are the best for you? Fish - not a chance. Salad, ugh. I normally loved a good salad!

With my son I craved the heavily flavoured tortilla chips and ice cream (separately, not mixed together). Ice cream has always been a comfort good but I'm not a chips person and I have no idea why all of a sudden that's all I could stomach. I have had no cravings for chips since he was born.

Do your best in the circumstances that you are in. The reality is that your energy is being diverted and your brain is telling you to do what is easy while also getting lots of calories.
